Mission:

The purpose of the Los Alamos Sport and Working Dog Association (LASWDA) is to represent the needs of the various sport, working, service and companion dog enthusiasts in Los Alamos County to Los Alamos County. LASWDA promotes responsible dog ownership through a variety of venues.

LASWDA is made up from representatives from each participating dog club or organization within Los Alamos County.

The LASWDA chair works with Los Alamos County Administration and Los Alamos County Parks Department to define the needs and protect the right to use Los Alamos greenspace for working and companion dog enthusiasts while respecting the rights of all parks and greenspace users.
